About the event
Formed in 2020, The TOFS began when fellow teachers Mark McKinnon and Tony Smith set out to create a duo built around their shared love of vocal harmony and acoustic music.
After pandemic delays, they finally took to the stage in 2022 — where a chance encounter with an audience member led to the addition of Peter Lewis on fretless bass, transforming the duo into the trio you hear today.
🎶 What to expect:
An eclectic mix of much-loved classics from the 60s through to today — featuring songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Paul Kelly, U2, Van Morrison, Tracy Chapman, Chris Isaak, Bonnie Raitt, The Band, and more. With rich harmonies, stripped-back acoustic arrangements, and a relaxed, engaging style, The TOFS bring timeless songs to life in a way that’s perfect for a great night out.
