Hardys Bay Club is a small not-for-profit Community Club offering members and visitors a place to relax and socialise in beautiful Hardys Bay.

Located at the southern end of the Central Coast, the Club is centrally located on the Bouddi Peninsula which encompasses the villages of Killcare, Hardys Bay, Pretty Beach and Wagstaffe, and near neighbours Macmasters Beach, Empire Bay and Bensville.  The Bouddi Peninsula is an area blessed with beautiful beaches, tranquil waterways and unspoilt bushland. The perfect place to chill-out!

The Club backs onto the Bouddi National Park with a natural waterfall (when the creek is running) and where you are likely to see kookaburras, king parrots, cockatoos and the occasional brush turkey.

The rustic log cabin building with its large outdoor deck, grassed courtyard and covered pergola has been the Club’s home for over 40 years, and has been the venue of many community functions and music events,  aside from providing the local community with a comfortable place to meet for a meal, a drink and a chat.

The Club offers patrons a family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere with regular live music and great conversation.

Restaurant and Bar

Hardy's Hideaway offers classic pub meals and offer dining in the restaurant and out on the deck.  They are open Thursday to Sunday.   Visit the "Dining" page for open hours and check out the menu.

Weddings, Birthdays, Kids Parties & more

The Club is a great venue for Weddings and Functions utilising the outdoor courtyard and pergola, surrounded by a beautiful bushland setting.   Please contact our events team for more information.

Live Music

We currently host live music every Saturday and Sunday here at the Club.   Follow us on Facebook or visit our "What's On" page to review the coming schedule of musicians and/or special events.

Our live music acts include local and touring artists covering blues, jazz, rock, country and everything in-between.  From music jams to selected ticketed events by well-known touring artists, where there is always something happening.  Follow our Facebook or Instagram to get the latest live music updates.

Not A Member – Join Now!

The Club's licence requires local residents (i.e. those that live within a 5km radius of the Club) either to be a member of the Club or be signed in by a member to gain access to the Club.  It is so much more convenient to be a member and it is only $20 per year!  Join today or renew your membership by clicking HERE.   Members receive a monthly newsletter to highlight upcoming events.

Pokies

We are one of the very few Clubs without poker machines at the venue.

Supporting Local

Being a small Club, we depend heavily on the continued support of local residents and visitors to the Bouddi Peninsular and, likewise, we endeavour to support local businesses when sourcing our produce and services for the Club.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

From our hand-made wedding centrepieces to second-hand furniture, and vases, stools and decorations from recycled materials, we try to limit the amount we throw away or buy brand-new.

Getting Here

The Club is 90 minutes from Sydney CBD or a fantastic 30 minute ferry ride from Palm Beach to Wagstaffe, a 5 minute ferry from Ettalong or a 70 minute train ride from Central to Woy Woy station.

Pet Policy

It is often said that if you don't own a dog you are not truly a "local".  The Club offers a pet friendly environment but we remind Pets (sorry "Owners") that for the health and safety of all Patrons, that the normal rules are followed when it comes to bringing your dog into a hospitality venue .  A simple summary of the normal rules (courtesy of Port Macquarie Hastings Council) can be viewed HERE.
